Introduction

With new communication tools, privacy needs particular care. We commit to protecting the personal information we collect.

Interpretation and definitions

Capitalized words have the meanings below, in singular or plural.

  • The company means Prêt Formula.
  • Account means a unique account created so you can access our Service.
  • Company means Prêt Formula, Longueuil (Quebec). The privacy officer can be reached at support@pretformula.com.
  • Country: Quebec, Canada.
  • Personal data: information relating to an identified or identifiable person.
  • Service: the website and loan applications made on it.

Collection of personal information

We may collect: first name, email address, phone number, and information needed to process a loan application.

Information is collected through forms (online application, contact form) and correspondence.

Purposes: application processing, file follow-up, contact, and audience statistics only after consent.

Right to object, withdraw and access

To access, correct, object or withdraw, write to support@pretformula.com. The officer is based in Longueuil (Quebec).

Security

Information is kept in a secured environment. Measures include TLS, access control, backups, passwords and a firewall. No mechanism offers absolute security on the internet.

Hosting and processors

  • OVHcloud: website hosting (VPS, Quebec/Canada).
  • Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. (Amazon SES): contact form relay, Canada (Central) region, in the Montréal area.
  • Resend: contact form relay, United States.
  • Cloudflare: contact form anti-bot protection (Turnstile), United States.
  • CreditBook: loan application and client portal platform (applications.pretformula.com, portal.pretformula.com).
  • Google Analytics 4: audience measurement, only after consent.

Communication outside Quebec

Some of our service providers, including Cloudflare, Resend and Google (United States), store or process personal information outside Quebec. Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. is located in Toronto and its parent company is located in the United States. It processes our contact form messages in the Montréal area, but the information they contain could be communicated outside Quebec, in particular to comply with a legal obligation or an order from an authority, or through remote access by its personnel.
